Sunset Valley
This authentic beautifully reconstructed traditional Malay house, which is over one hundred and twenty years old, is a two bedroom house with two bathrooms and two individual verandas. It is our most luxurious house providing accommodation for 4 people, and can easily accommodate a family of up to 6 with the addition of two single folding beds.
This lovely house has all of the western luxuries, including a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen with large refrigerator, micro wave, toaster, water kettle, cutlery and crockery and two modern bathrooms with hot shower, urinal, toilet and hand-basin. From the delightful verandas complete with tables and chairs, you have a magnificent view over the rice paddies.
Of course beach towels, bath towels and linen are all provided. This lovely home is beautifully ventilated in the old Malay style but it also has ceiling fans for your comfort. And to completely assure your comfort, air-conditioning is available as an optional extra charge.
RATE PER NIGHT is in Malaysian Ringgit and includes 10% service charge. In Peak Season, a minimum 3 night stay and Surcharge will apply.

My friends and I had a great stay at the Air BnB.. Far from the hustle and bustle of town... Looking forward to coming back here again!
This is the second time here, the first is 2016 and the last time it felt so good, so the second time the family said it must be chosen.Reason for coming here: Original ecological feelings, diverse plants and animals, are preferred by children.Come here for four or five days to basically play on the island.
We had a beautiful stay at Sunset Valley, the home and the facilities were better than we anticipated. It was almost like a micro-resort with 2 - 3 other families cooling off in the pool in the evenings. The facility is very well maintained and clean.
The house is comfortable and charming. The setting is heavenly with the beautiful pool that the kids loved. The place is clean and well kept. Gudrun made herself available throughout the trip and shared many recommendations for family outings. The setting is conducive to relaxation, we will return there with our eyes closed. Thank you
Our family absolutely love Sunset Valley. Coming from the city, we treasure the quiet and laid back kampong days and nights... with creature comforts of modern living of course! ☺️ Gudrun and David are helpful and kind, even the pets are lovely. We will be back!
We had such a wonderful week at Farmers House. It was perfect for our 18 month old daughter with lots of room to explore, nature to spot and the pool to cool off in. The location was great for us - it felt like paradise but was within a 15/20 min drive of most places on the island. Gudrun and David were lovely hosts, and Rose helped us out when we needed it. Highly recommend!
